INTRODUCTION:
In the last few studies, we have been looking at the
deeper meanings of John 1:3-4. But new every morning
is the Word and you can never dig too deep because the
Word is infinitely deep. Job 11:7-9. Consequently, there
are many more gems to be uncovered. May the Word reveal
Himself to us more and more, Amen.
1.
Who is usually referred to as the Lord God in the Trinity?
Who actually created man? Who planted the Garden of
Eden? Who visited Adam and Eve after the fall? Why was
the devil able to attack Jesus when He was in the world?
Why cannot the devil do so now? Why does God hate lusts?
Why must a Christian beware of pleasure: Can a man know
when to go home? If you want to know what must you do?
Why must we pray in the Name of Jesus?
God
the Son is usually referred to as the Lord God, Rev.
19:6-7, II Tim.6:15. This helps to know that Jesus actually
created man Genesis 2:7, and the Garden of Eden, Genesis
2:8 and is the One who visited Adam and Eve after the
fall. Gen. 3:8-9,14. Also Hebrew 2:9 explains why the
devil was able to attack his creator while in the flesh
and Ephesians 1:17-22 gives the reason why the devil
cannot attack the Lord God now.
God
hates lust because God is Life and lust leads to death,
James 1:15. It is also the same reason why a Christian
must beware of pleasure, I Tim. 5:6. Even Christian
can know when he is about to die, II Peter 1:14 and
if you want to know all you need to do is be holy, Number
23:10-11, II Peter 3:13-14.
The
reason why we must pray in the Name of Jesus are:
(i) He is our next of kin, I Tim 2:5,
(ii) He is our link to the Trinity, John 14:6,
(iii) He is our best Referee, Phil. 2:9,
(iv) No one dares oppose a prayer prayed in Jesus Name,
Phil. 2:10, and finally,
(v) God the Father has no alternative other than to
answer such prayers.
CONCLUSION:
Now that you know your prayers that are said in Jesus
Name must be answered, how about doing some asking tonight?.
