THE BRIDE OF THE LAMB - PART 3
INTRODUCTION:
In part two, we discovered that the Church is called
the Body of Christ because Christ fulfills the role
of a Head to a body by supplying all the needs - Physical,
mental and spiritual of the Church. The Church in return
is expected to fulfill the role of a body to a head
by making Jesus Christ known and executing His decisions
and commandments. We also saw how the Bride of Christ
could be likened to a Temple with Jesus Christ as the
Chief Cornerstone while other Christians are the "living
stones'' for the building of the Temple. In this part
of the series, we shall continue our study of the Bride
of the Lamb. May the Lord bless us as we do so. Amen.
1.
THE BRIDE IS A VIRGIN
How the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, gets His
Bride will be similar to how Adam got his own, because
Jesus Christ is the second Adam. A beautiful illustration
of what is going to happen can be found in the story
of how Isaac got his bride. It is also interesting to
note that there are 2 Brides in the scriptures: Israel
is the Bride of Jehovah and the Church is the Bride
of Christ. Of course the Anti-Christ claims he has a
bride too.

30; Gen. 24; I Thes. 4:15-18; Is. 54:5-8.
2.
THE MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB
It is essential that you note that it is going to be
the marriage of the LAMB. The great event is not so
much the consummation of the hopes of the Bride as it
is the consummation of the plan of God for His son.
arranged for before the foundation of the world. It
is the greatest reward for Jesus for becoming a man.
And it's a marriage that will never suffer a divorce.
